Andrew and I have noticed that people here and on the BBC say "at the moment" quite often. It reminds me of working as a dispatcher...there were a few people that would talk on the radio and say "at this time". It always just touched my funny bone!
Over the past several weeks I've been reading quite a few books. I had downloaded many books over months of time and now I finally have time to read them. I have found many spelling and grammar errors in the books I've been reading.....the editing in books is not very thorough anymore. You would think that with modern technology it would be better rather than the opposite being true! Maybe the editors aren't actually "reading" the books anymore?!?!
My husband and I are expats. We have relocated to the Netherlands from California, USA. My blog began with our preparations to leave all we knew and continues through our journey in our new home! Join me in our adventure!

Street Artists in Haarlem, Flea Markets and my bicycle!
Today I went for a walk through Haarlem and saw these street artists. The first group is called "The Compatible's"...I ended up buying their CD! There were so many people gathered around watching and listening....beautiful music!
This young man is so talented! I've seen him a couple of times in Haarlem...next time I see him I'll buy a CD.....didn't have enough cash today.
There are flea market type events all the time around town...love it!
I have finally fully outfitted my bicycle!
