On to Dallas, TX

Sunday, September 30th, I drove down to SFO in my little Toyota Yaris for the next leg of my trip. It's a pretty comfortable car for it's size, and it gets great gas mileage. This time I flew Virgin Airlines, which was nice.

When I landed in Dallas, I got yet another Toyota Yaris at the rental company!  I drove out to my hotel in Richardson. I stayed at the Marriott Courtyard there, since I get points when I stay with Marriott. After checking in at the hotel, I called my son and we met for an early dinner. He took me out for BBQ at Sonny Bryan's. Oh myyyy...that was yummy! It was great to see him, and share a tasty meal with him!

The next morning (Monday, October 1st)  I met my son's ex-girlfriend and my granddaughter for breakfast at the Cafe Brazil in  Dallas.

Afterwards, we went to the Dallas Zoo!!! What a great day we had together!

It sure was hard to say good-bye....yet again......

While driving around, I noticed the price of gas in TX is quite a bit lower than in CA!

That evening I tried to get ahold of my son again to have dinner together, but he didn't pick up....soooo, I took myself over to my favorite little place in Dallas called "Aw Shucks" where I got my favorite thing-spicy shrimp cocktail. Oh my-delicious!  I got it to go and took it back to my hotel room.

Next morning....off and running again to PHL....
