Shopping in Amsterdam and preparing to go to Vienna!

A couple of days ago I went to Amsterdam to do a little Christmas shopping. We bought some little boxes from the Post Office that we'd like to fill up with a few things and send to our children in the U.S.

I stopped by the Magna Plaza...it's such a beautiful shopping mall.

I went to Bijenkorf and bought a few things...including more Nespresso pods! I walked by this window display at Hermes and thought it was so beautiful...it's made from folded paper! 

After doing a little shopping I walked back to the train station. The sun was shining on the station and made it look so beautiful!

In a few days I'll be flying to Vienna to meet some "old" friends: Pat, Carol, Debbie, Tim and Gail, and there will be another woman there I haven't met yet, Mary. I have known most of them for over 30 years (yiiiiikes, how did that happen!!??!?!). Pat, Mary and I are planning to go to Linz, Austria for a day to see the Christmas markets! Other than that, we don't have any set plans...should be lot of fun! Looking forward to seeing them all!
