Innsbruck, Austria

We left Fussen Tuesday morning and headed towards Austria. Before leaving Germany though, we stopped at a petrol station and bought an Austrian sticker for the car.  The cost was 8 Euro, and is needed to drive on the highways. If you don't have it you can be fined!
The drive through the Austrian Alps is breathtaking!

We saw these beautiful fields of corn growing everywhere!

When we arrived in Innsbruck, we checked into our hotel. We stayed at the Best Wester Hotel Mondschein. It was a very basic room....clean, and close to town and the tram. The first thing we wanted to do was take the tram up to the top of the mountain. We first got on a little train, then had to take two other separate trams up to the top!

We sat and had a beer at the top of the Alps.....a little bird came by to visit!

When we got back to the bottom of the mountains we stopped for a beer....
